Now we are finally in Bucha!

Good afternoon - we are in Bucha!

This is the last of our three Hero Citieswhere we have not yet started work - but now this failure has already been cured. From now on, Friends of Patron work at school No. 5 in the city of Bucha.

We also agreed to conduct our classes on a permanent basis - once a week!

We liked it here for several reasons:

  • a very picturesque place - the school is in the middle of an old and beautiful park
  • bright and spacious building
  • we were allocated a large assembly hall for work

There is a big stage, backstage, a sound control panel, a huge screen, radio microphones and a lot of other useful things.

The school was opened way back in 1950. There was a boarding school in this place for a long time, and now 1,600 students study here.

The lights are almost never turned off in it these days - which is very important nowadays when all of Ukraine is suffering from enemy bombings.

A modern bomb shelter was prepared at the school, which, like in many educational institutions of the Bucha district, was equipped by Unicef.

It turned out just wonderful: with several halls, good lighting, and comfortable soft chairs. We had the opportunity to personally verify this:

During the air raid, we went there and held classes on Mine Hazard for the schoolchildren. It was noisy and fun albeit difficult - but we did it and it was worth it.

Even a group of boys came with a guitar and sang songs.

Our children are like that - they can overcome everything cheerfully and with a smile, although there is very little fun in our lives now.

At our Mine Hazard trainingin addition to various types of threats, we tell schoolchildren in detail about different types of dangerous places and their signs on the ground.

In a nutshell - we are talking about where you cannot go now under any circumstances!

Learn more about all this in our lessons!

Right here, according to our tradition, we launched our last drawing competition of the year on the theme - "Friends of Patron from all over Ukraine" - who are they, where do they live and what do they do?

Our students never cease to amaze us with their imagination, they demonstrate very cool and bold ideas - keep it up, you are all utterly amazing!

See you soon, future friends of Patron, we will shortly come to you!
